Reframing it as a more literal description helps clarify the meaning for them. 🥣 Two similar phrases—like “a rice bowl” and “rice in a bowl”—may seem synonymous to you. But to a young language learner, “a rice bowl” could mean a bowl made of rice or a bowl of rice and other foods that they might not want.
