I finally wrapped up a Procharger D1x install last night and decided I would take the opportunity to once again discuss PCV systems. This time, I have a freshly installed centrifugal supercharger kit to demonstrate how the hoses should be routed. This would also be applicable to a turbocharged application. during the initial assembly of the short block, I noticed that the number 3 main bearing, or the thrust bearing, did not have nearly enough oil clearance. this is exactly why we must always measure and never guess or assume that everything is right. The crankshaft is untouched, the bearings are standard clearance, the main boards have even been honed slightly since we are installing studs in place of the factory bolts, which, if anything, would loosen things up a tad. in the end, it just turned ▶2:44・

this 2007 trailblazer SS came to need for tuning a few weeks ago after the owner had a set of long tube headers installed. we got a good baseline number for the truck before the supercharger was installed. as the dyno has shown, we gained about 60% more power on 91 octane and we got another 50 horsepower or so with some ethanol in the tank. while the truck does have plenty of fuel injector in it, it does not have an adequate fuel pump. we will have to keep the ethanol content around 30% or less ▶6:17・

I finally have this 2017 Corvette all lined out mechanically and can continue with the tuning process.
